Tony Bonanno is a professional photographer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His work encompasses a broad range of fine art, commercial, and editorial photography. Tony grew up in Washington, DC, where his father introduced him to photography at the age of 12. He spent many years living and working in rural and remote areas managing public lands prior to becoming a full time photographer. He has photographed extensively in the American Southwest, the Appalachians, the Northeast seacoast, as well as Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa.
Tony's work has been featured in numerous galleries on Cape Cod (Provincetown, Wellfleet, Orleans, Chatham), and in Boston and Santa Fe. He was the recipient of the prestigious Leo Diehl Award at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, Massachusetts in 1989. He was the feature artist of the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in 1990 & 1991.
