A major market for collectors of fine art of the Southwest, specializing in blue chip resales of Santa Fe's prominent contemporary and historic artists.
Alex Windsor Betts created this important niche in the Santa Fe art market in 1988 after realizing that the galleries could not resell their artists work on the secondary market due to a conflict of interest for the artists. With her combined career experience as an art director and real estate broker, she created Windsor Betts Art Brokerage.
Interfacing with the major Santa Fe Galleries, Windsor Betts represents their artists on the secondary market which we refer to as art brokerage. We represent individual collectors and important estates including the Vladan Stiha, Elaine Horwitch and Dick Mason Estates housed in a beautiful 158 year old historic adobe painted with faux brick in the center of downtown at 136 Grant Avenue, next to the Santa Fe Convention Center. Plenty of free parking in our lot next to the building.
